1. Responsibility for data processing

Koob Scolitech GmbH, Haarbergweg 2, 55546 Neu Bamberg is responsible for the collection, processing and use of user data.

2.1. Usage data

We collect the following data in a log file when you access our website.

The type of browser and version of the browser you are using, the operating system used, the webpages of Koob Scolitech GmbH’s website that are accessed, the controlled subpages of the website of Koob Scolitech GmbH’s (IP address), and the Internet service provider, and any comparable data.

Koob Scolitech GmbH uses this data to be able to provide access to the website, to identify and rectify any technical problems that may arise and to prevent, and prosecute any misuse of the offer on Koob Scolitech GmbH’s homepage, if necessary. At the same time, Koob Scolitech GmbH uses this data in an anonymised form, i.e. without any possibility of the user being identified, for statistical purposes and to improve the website. ‘Temporary cookies’ are used in certain instances. Cookies are tiny text files that are stored on the user’s data media and that exchange certain data and a specific setting with Koob Scolitech GmbH’s system via the user’s browser. A cookie generally receives the name of the domain, from which the cookie data was sent, together with information about the age of the cookie and an alphanumeric identification code.

Koob Scolitech GmbH does not use the information stored in the cookies to identify the user. It will also not be merged with other personal data that may be saved about the user.

3. Subcontracted data processing and forwarding to third parties

This website is made available by way of contract data processing by www.youunique-design.de as the technical service provider. Personal data shall not be stored and processed beyond the scope outlined in this declaration. The aforesaid service provider has been carefully selected and meets high data protection and data security standards. The service provider is committed to confidentiality and will only process the data on behalf of Koob Scolitech GmbH and following the latter’s instructions.

Except for the instances set out in this data protection declaration, the service provider will only pass on data to third parties, without the user’s explicit consent, if Koob Scolitech GmbH is obliged to do so by law or based on Koob Scolitech GmbH’s instructions.

4. Site of data storage

Unless explained elsewhere in this data protection declaration, personal data is only processed in computer centres, which come under the jurisdiction of the European Protection Regulation 95/46/EU, and the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679, with effect from 25.05.2018.

5. Storage period

Personal data will be deleted, if knowledge is no longer required for the purposes described in this data protection declaration and statutory requirements do not stipulate a lengthier storage period.

6. User rights

The user and all other persons, who may be affected by the data processing by Koob Scolitech GmbH, are entitled to information about the personal data stored by Koob Scolitech GmbH, and for each of the statutory requirements, the right to rectify, erase and limit processing or object to processing.

With effect from 25.05.2018 (applicability of the General European Data Protection Regulation 2016/679), users of the Koob Scolitech GmbH website and possibly further persons affected further have the right to receive the personal data they provided, in a structured, common format that can be read mechanically. This includes the right to transfer this data to another person responsible.
